| We would like to remind everyone, especially those who dont frequently travel outside of the country of a few items.
- Be mindful of cell phone use and international and roaming charges. We are on vacation so nothing can be more important than the fun in the pool and Mojitos!! Just turn it off and leave it in the safe!!! For those who have to speak with family members back home, wifi will be available for Facetime and Skype.
- Of course a passport is a must! No way around it. So I hope everyone attending has one by now.
- Everyone should be transfering to and from the airport With Lomas Travel. Once you get your bags just proceed outside the airport to the Lomas Travel podium. They will be the people with the turqoise and white outfits. Don't get caught up in the many other companies attempts to offer transfers. Our transfers are already paid for in the total price, so if you dont travel with Lomas, you will be paying extra.
- Be sure to stop at the Lomas office at the resort sometime in the 1st or 2nd day to set up your transfer time back to the airport. I believe they require everyone to arrive at the airport 3 hours prior to departure so plan for that. (This is especially important for those with flights that leave early in the morning)
- The resort does take US currency but for those wanting to exchange money, it may be beneficial to exchange money at the airport. You may exchange money at the resort, however, the exchange rates are different depending on where you go and you may get more for your money at the airport. Check the blog prior to departure for updates on exchange rates.
- REMEMBER!!!!! Bottled water only! Do not drink the water. It is not safe to drink. Your room should have bottled water in it and the mini bar is stocked with water everyday and on request. All bars have bottled water as well.
