On January 1, 2017, the day of our Anniversary, Jason made a plan to propose in the same spot we had first met four years earlier. With Jason's phone secretly propped up on the step, ready to record the entire proposal, we left on a walk around the block with Halo and Charlie. Upon our return, little did I know, Jason had planned to propose. With the camera rolling, he got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage. Halo and Charlie were overjoyed; I could tell! The moment could not have been more intimate or special. I am a lucky woman and excited to spend the rest of my life with a man I will be proud to call my husband.
