In Fall of 2008 Kevin moved to Madison on a whim to live with some friends and Sarah had just moved into her first off-campus apartment. After moving, Kevin asked a mutual friend if they knew any single girls and we were introduced! We started hanging out in groups and also every Thursday night to watch The Office. After a few weeks Sarah was ending her shift at a UW res hall front desk and Kevin surprised her in his Zorro Halloween costume with roses to ask her out. The rest is history!

We've been through a lot over the past four years. 3 months after we began dating Sarah left to study abroad in Australia for a semester and our talking time was pretty limited with the time difference and cost of internet and international calls. When she returned however we reconveined as we both moved to new apartments and continued on with school. In 2010 Kevin started working full-time at a hotel on the East Side of Madison and Sarah graduated from school. We celebrated the New Year with our first of two trips to the Rose Bowl out in California (unfortunately the Badgers didn't win). Since then we've both been working hard figuring out how to be "grown-ups" and survive in the world past the college lifestyle. 2012 has also been very exciting for us - we started with a trip to Europe in the spring, we moved into an apartment together and Kevin returned to school. We're excited to see where our new path leads!
