Bride

Tyler and I had first met early 2010 at a Greek Week mixer, where we were introduced to each other by one of my sorority sisters. However, we didn't really have the opportunity to talk, because I was preoccupied by whatever drama was occurring at that time.

We met again a month or so later while hanging out with a mutual group of friends. This time we had the opportunity to talk and hangout, and I remember thinking,"I really want to hangout with him again!". That night, as I was getting ready to leave, I realized that the group I was supposed to walk across campus with, had already left! Tyler, being the gentleman he is, offered to walk me back to my dorm. We talked and laughed along the way, and said our goodbyes once we reached my dorm. It was the last week of school before summer vacation, so I wasn't really sure how things would turn out. I just hoped that I'd get to see him again before then.

The next day, the sister that had introduced us, told me that he had asked for my number! I told her to give it to him and I was so excited when he texted me later that day and invited me and a few friends to hangout the next day. We had a great time together and with friends that night. We continued to talk and text every day, over the next month. We even met up one weekend in York to go to the drive in movies.

Then, one day, I invited him to come up to visit me at my house in Northeast PA. To my surprise, he said yes! So we made plans for him to come visit for a few days the second week of June.

On June 16th, 2010, Tyler arrived at my house,  and pulled into the driveway. I ran down to meet him and as he was getting out of the car, I saw a beautiful bouquet of red roses! He handed them to me and asked me if I would be his girlfriend! I, of course, was so stunned and excited, I blurted out "Really?!?! Are you serious?!". He smiled and said "yes." I said, "OF COURSE!".

And the rest is history =)
