The Bride is a native of GA. Raised in Warner Robins, GA and moved to Atlanta after high-school to attend Georgia State University. I have one daughter, Mckenzie who is nine years old. I am family oriented and enjoy spending time with family and friends. My hobbies include traveling, supporting my Falcons, game-night with friends, and my new hobby is learning how to skate again. Some time before I met Felix I started asking God for what I wanted in detail and I posted it on my bathroom mirror. It was somewhat of a Vision Board. One of the things that I asked for and I was sure to title it as a Need; was a Man. Not just any Man! I had a detailed list that went like so:
I need someone who knows where his head is
Who won't feel threatened by my accomplishments or my spirit
Who is self- confident enough to view my fortitude as an appreciated asset
I need a Man who loves himself
A Man who loves his Mom,Sisters and his life
Someone who will love my child as much as he loves his own
Someone whom my child can love and admire too
Someone with a bank account not overflowing but rainy day solid
A financially fit Man who is cognizant of the term Future needs
A Man with his own car
A clean Man
A Man who's as self reliant as I am, if not more
A Man who is single, uninvolved and disengaged
A Man who has a relationship with God
All these things that I asked for seemed like they were to much to ask. Little did I know, that Man that I was asking for was on his way. It was a family reunion that my Mom forced me to attend in Miami, FL on my birthday that I would meet My Forever. Calm down, he was not at the family reunion. My cousins and I went out on the town to celebrate my 33RD birthday. I had not noticed him at all that night. Apparently, he had noticed me more than once. Just as we were wrapping up our night and heading back to the car, he stopped me and introduced himself. A year later he moved to Atlanta and we began dating.
