On April 25, 2012, Bamm told me he had something special planned for us that evening. I thought it was strange b/c I was trying to arrange to do something nice for his birthday (april 25th). I went with the flow. I came home from work that day, feeling very tired and I had a stomach ache. I said, Bamm can we reschedule whatever you had planned? He said no, I already paid for it. So now I'm really confused. I then asked how long will we be at this place, is there food there? His response were very vague and short. As we drove I kept thinking...where on earth are we going! I'm hungry and I dont feel good! So we arrived at a park in a residential area. He parks on the side of the road and there was a path, it seemed. I asked him, whose cars are these and why are we here, do you know where we are...who told you about this place? I had a million questions. LOL I know he was ready to choke me!!! So we were holding hands walking down a path and all of a sudden, I heard soft music playing and as we got closer I noticed two men one playing a acoustic guitar and one playing a saxaphone under a gazebo. I said oh wow, we're going to a concert this is nice! So we walked up the path that lead to the gazebo and we sat down at a cocktail table, decorated with candles and sparking cider. I said, "oh babe this is so nice and special for your birthday!!" So the musicians were playing all of my favorite love songs....it was simply beautiful. Then I noticed a lady standing near a tree in the distance and she was taking our picture....I immediately noticed her and said who is that? do you know her? wait you know these people? you told them to come here? LOL boy he won the patience award that day...bc I was non stop with the questions. Finally, the musicians started playing, "all my life" by Kc & Jojo and it clicked! I started crying, knowing what that song means to us. With that he got down on one knee with tears in his eyes (of course a speech too) and asked me to Marry him...of course, I will! I replied. A magical moment indeed.... |
