Our wedding party consists of an incredible group of people that have touched our lives in a special way. This day would not be the same without these wonderful guys and gals.

Take a moment to see how they recall our first encounters :D

Karen Connors

We met December 24, 1983, it was a sunny afternoon when mom and dad brought her home. I was 5 yrs old and SUPER excited to finally meet my baby sister.  I stayed close to her crib from that day on, being helpful in any way I could; sharing toys, and letting mom know she was hungry EVERY time she cried :)

We shared many great times from that point on, until dressing like my baby sister was not longer cool, lol.

We tolerated each other until I moved out and away from home.  We reconnected when Lissette started studying at U of C, and also became my roommate. We shared good times and good food for about 3 yrs, this included hip hop classes and an out of province adventure to good ol' Saskatchewan.  Fast forward a few years and here we are, my baby sister is getting married!! Cheers to my life long friend, we are closer then we've ever been!

Megan Debackere

We met when I moved back to Calgary to manage Le Chateau at Chinook Centre, and Lissette was already working there as an Assistant Manager. If you have ever managed in retail before, you would know the extent of the challenges, and how important it is to have the best, right hand girl by your side, and that was Lissette. I probably would not have survived those days without her working by my side, and making it fun. Not to mention, taking me out on the town, as I did not know many people in the city. And by "taking me out on the town", I mean sitting at Ric's Grill, drinking bottles of wine, while Brent worked, and making fun of Josh's "murse". We both moved on from retail, and went to school to do different things, besides a small stint together at Anejo, which I hardly recall much of. We have stayed close friends because she has always had my back, since those days at Le Chateau, and I could never let such a great friend and fabulous girl out of my life.

Kaye Mendoza

We met in Grade 1, when I first moved to Canada, barely knowing how to speak any English, she became one of my first friends. In high school, she played the role of being my personal matchmaker, setting me up with my long time partner, Greg.

No matter where we are, or how much time has passed (weeks, months, or years), we can catch up like no time has passed by. I know you have my back whenever I need you, and I will always be there for you.

We met at school, I don't remember the exact details, as it all happened so fast, but within a few months we became great friends, then after graduation, we became even closer. Lissette became like an older sister I never had. #sisterfromanothermister

Kaureena Bailey

i met Lissette in 2012, when I started working at Moxie's downtown, where she had been bartending while she was finishing school. I was instantly impressed by her incredible work ethic, and attracted to her desire to be the best at whatever she was doing. Although our relationship started as a professional one, we became friends fast- bonding over common interests, such as shopping and wine.  I always looked forward to the nights we both worked, because they seemed to go by much faster than others.  I also looked forward to the times we didn't work, because that's when we really got to know one another.  We would hang out over food and bevies for hours, and talk about almost anything.  Now we can usually be found at the nail salon, getting pedicures before one of her and Brent's lavish vacations, catching a quick hello hug before a busy shift at work, or my favorite: letting loose, celebrating a birthday or holiday, and having a dance party! We have shared so many laughs, tears, serious moments, and hilarious good times!  Although life has gotten even busier for each of us, has led us to different careers, and down different paths, I can trust that we will always find time for one another. I love Lissette like a sister, and I am so thankful for the friendship we have, that I know will be life long.  i am so happy and honoured to be a part of her and Brent's special day!! Let's add one more unforgettable event to our list of memories!!

Demia Campbell

I have only been friends with Setty for 2 short years, but in that time, we have become so close. We met and worked together at Anejo.  We would see each other on weekends and then usually have a post-shift glass of wine and catch up. That turned into a friendship I cherish so much.  Lissette has been there to share in my happy moments and has been a great friend, and support system, in my not-so-happy ones.  They say that friends are the family that you choose, well I consider Setty to be like a sister, and can't wait to be with her (and a part) of her special day!

I first met Brent about 7 years ago at Ric's Grill. Back then Rics was a destination for our circle of friends to grab a bite and a couple of drinkss, before getting on with our debauchery. I remember meeting this large, boisterous bartender, who immediately greeted me with a big smile, a forthcming handshake, and a welcoming invite to have SHOTS! We also knew him as "Sebastian", his comedic alter ego.  The debauchery would now beign the second we'd walk through that door at Ric's, and the laughs and friendship have continued.

Charlie Hateley

I met Brent at the local pub, St. James corner.  I don't remember if he was waiting for Aaron, or if it was Aaron waiting for him.  Lissette may have been there too, possibly later. Anyways, our friend Jen, thought we (myself and a friend) that Aaron was hitting on her, it was close to Rememberance day, about 5 yrs ago. That was the first time I heard the famous words from Brent, "double jack, diet, pressed"...then there were Sundays....Funday Sundays...

Alister Noble

I was inside Canuckles MMA, wiping the blood of my opponents off my gloves- having gone through the lot of my training partners with barely a bead of prespiration. Enters, big boy Brent, left stage, and for the very first time, our eyes locked. Noting his impressive and formidable physique, though at the same time, his contagious smile-I found myself remarking "fresh meat", and proceeded to smash him up somewhat.  This was an outcome which time would prove to be commonplace--me beating him up; "All in the interest of sport mate!". That said, i also (barely) remember the first time Brent laid me out. No, not on the mats, it was another Sunday night at Hudson's Taphouse. We were binging on crispy butterfly shrimp, wings, shots and spirits galore, all through the afternoon and into the night.

At some point (it was relayed to me), the Hudson's staff found me to be too uncouth to be in their fine establishment (and that is certainly saying something). While I cannot recall the details, I do remember being thrown out (literally) onto the street, and being drove home in the back of a Calgary Police van. I woke up with fully scraped face, shattered cell phone display and a hangover from hell!! Brent, by contrast, seemed chipper as could be the next day, and was kind enough to react out in order to teach me accordingly.

"This boy can put them back", I remember thinking to myself, and it's with great delight that I have the regular opportunity to have this element of Brent demonstarted to me, again and again!!

Liam Connors

This day could not be complete without ring security! Liam is the nephew of Lissette and Brent. He is currently 2 yrs old, and is the oldest of 2 boys.

Zachary Connors

Meet Zach!! He is also part of the ring security crew, you can't have 2 rings, and only 1 guard!! He is Liam's little brother, and currently 4 months old.
