| He was cruising and I was just playin around, learning and hanging out at different sites, online. Being the shy and quiet gal I am, I was reading the different ways people describe themselves. It was just me and my computer alone on a mountain laughing at the things people say. Every now and then I'd send a little smart ass comment, not realizing for a second that the other person could actually be right there and answer IMMEDIATELY! Omg...he scared the hell out of me, almost had to use my AED on me. Funny how one jumps, turns beet red and looks around to see who saw....I was alone, in the bush and burning up with embarrassment, like a kid who got caught with my hand I the cookie jar. Anyways, so began our friendly sparring match. I found myself looking forward to our chats. I mean really how bad could it be. He was way down South and I was way up here. It was so easy to become friends and to just talk about anything and laugh...oh boy do we laugh. He says we both have the same warped sense of humor, I say it's just cause I find it funny that he thinks he's so funny. I found myself confiding in him all my deepest hurts and joys, why not, it wasn't like he could tell anybody! We did meet up in Vegas, with my Mom and Stephanie. It was supposed to be at the Bellagio Fountain, at midnight, but thank heavens he was anxious and phoned to come pick me up earlier. I would never have found him, or the fountains. It was my first time in Vegas, it was amazing, and so BUSY, with so very many people. Since then we have shared many vacations, many frustrations I make him crazier at times, we have made a home and pretty much are each others first thing in the morning and last thing at night voice and several times a day best of friends. It's nice, I feel like we have known each other for ever. My girls think the world of this crazy man as does the rest of my family, we even have OUR friends now. I don't know exactly when or how it happened because neither one of us was ever getting married, and definitely not falling in love, but it feels right and good, so since it is what it is, better hang on and enjoy the ride! ![]() Met this beautiful lady in Las Vegas working the strip in front of the fountains at the Bellagio .... After much chaperoning by her Mother and oldest Daughter Stephanie, who's Birthday we were celebrating. We had several laugh's and mucho wonderful times exploring the nightlife and watching Stephanie set new land speed records. Stacey an Stephanie are awesome and prime examples of the wonderful job her Mother & Father did in raising them to be the best they can be. Since then I met the rest of the Family over the next few years and have enjoyed them all immensely. We proceeded to have many vacations and good times together growing into the relationship we share today. And yes for those to afraid to ask Canadians are CRAZY.... BTW she phoned me and said I cant find the fountains can you come get me early please? |
