The couple met by chance when Curtis decided to stop for a bite to eat in Salina, Kansas on his way home from a work trip. Curtis stopped at Applebee's and met Anissa while they both sat at the bar. The couple began talking, and let's just say the rest is history! From that day on, they have talked everyday since.

Back in 2019, the couple took a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to tie the knot while visiting. Curtis and Anissa went to a small chapel in Vegas in blue jeans and had a modest wedding with no elaborate decor or even photos!  The couple was happy to be married, but later regretted not having any family present or anything symbolic to represent their special day.  Curtis and Anissa vowed on their 5th year anniversary they would renew their wedding vows and "do it up right!"

Well the time has arrived and 2024 makes five years!  Curtis and Anissa are so excited to renew their wedding vows on the beautiful beaches of Negril, Jamaica!
