  | Mike and I found each other through our daughters. Both of us had daughters who cheered on the same All-Star team yet we had never officially met. One night, as the team celebrated the holidays at a Christmas party in Mt. Sterling, we were finally introduced. Kayla, Mike's daughter, pulled me out onto the dance floor to dance with her. Mike watched us and took notice. Afterwards, Kayla introduced me to her dad by saying, "Dad, this is my mom!" (She liked to call me and few other moms she was close to on the team that.) We smiled, said our hellos, and continued on with the festivities (occasionally glancing in each other's direction). About a month later, both of us were assigned to work a fundraiser for the girls. We again made several eye contacts and flirtatious smiles and Mike ended up staying late to talk to me until I was relieved from my shift. After that, a friend of mine called saying, "Don't be mad, but someone asked for your number and I gave it to him!" About an hour later, I got a text... Mike. Then several texts later, he called, and we talked and talked. We soon went on our first date... Had our first kiss... and the rest is history! Now we are ready to spend our lives together with the one person we were meant to be with forever. | | Mike and I will finally be married on July 9th, 2011, at the Owingsville First Church of God in Owingsville, Kentucky, by Pastor Lowell Rice. My Maid-of-Honor is my beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn. My two bridesmaids are Mike's beautiful daughters, Kayla and Brianna. Mike's father, Mike, will be his Best Man and his groomsmen will be his handsome son, Brayden, and my handsome son, Keegan. Brayden's daughter, Serenity, (our precious granddaughter) will be our flowergirl. My adorable nephews, Peyton and Carson, will be our ring bearers. We have selected 3 incredibly talented singers to perform during our wedding ceremony. Brock Baber, Amber Martin, and Stephanie Donahue have agreed to make this day even more special by sharing some very special songs. | | Our reception will follow immediately after our vows at the Old Silo Clubhouse in Mt. Sterling. We will enjoy wonderful food, beautiful scenery, mingling and dancing with all our guests till midnight. | | After the festivities, Mike and I will have our limo take us to our bridal suite in Lexington. On the 10th, we will fly out to the Mayan Riviera to enjoy 7 wonderful days and nights at the Azul Sensatori Hotel in Mexico for the honeymoon of our dreams. | | We are so excited and feel so blessed to get to share this moment with all our loved ones. We love and appreciate each and every one of you. You all have played a very special part in our lives, and have been there throughout our search for happiness and love. Celebrate with us, now that our search is over, and our life together truly begins. |
