Everyone should know by now how Brian and I met and how long we have been together! Nonetheless, we are truly excited to make this official and take the next step in our relationship. And, we truly thank-you for all of your support and committment to making "our day" part of your day.
Our wedding ceremony will take place in a secluded area on the resort surrounded by beautiful foilage and sand under our feet overlooking the ocean. We are asking our family and friends to wear the following: all men in khaki's and button-up white dress shirts and all women in sun dresses (turquoise/blue if you're able to find). Shoe choice is up to you or barefoot!

We will have a small dinner reception with our family and friends after the wedding on June 5th, 2009 at a restaurant on the resort known for its International Cuisine. For those family & friends attending the wedding and reception, please bring dress shoes (closed-toe for the men) and dress pants (men) because the restaurant requires this dress code for dinner that night. When we return to the "states" we will have a reception in Lynchburg, VA at the Moose Lodge on Waterlick Road on Saturday, July 11th, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Please look for your invites in May.
We are departing on June 2nd, 2009 from Richmond International Airport at the "wee" hour of 7:00 a.m. to arrive at Cancun, Mexico approximately at 11:00 a.m. The wedding will take place on Friday, June 5th, 2009 at El Dorado Royale in Riveria Maya, Mexico. Brian and I will be staying at the adults-only resort until June 9th 2009 at their famous "Casita Suite."
Family & Friends Attending: There will be about an hour ride once arriving in Cancun to the resort in Riveria Maya. We should all be able to ride together! :) Also, Brian and I are planning on reserving a van from a local taxi service in Richmond to take all of us to the airport on June 2nd, 2009--we may have to take 2 different trips though due to number of people and luggage. If you are planning on coming back sooner than we are from the trip, let us know if you would like us to reserve the "taxi" service to take you from the airport back to our house in order to get your vehicle. As we are returning late in the evening back to the "states," if anyone wants to stay at the house that night when you return, the offer is available. We are here for any questions/concerns that you may have--don't hesitate to call!!
