It all started when we were much younger.... just a curious boy and a friendly girl. We met in middle school and had several of the same friends and hobbies- sports, orchestra, science, etc. In 8th grade at Crockett Middle School we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend- we even went to the dance together! 8 months later we were back to being friends, and that is where we remained.
Throughout high school, we remained friends, sometimes closer than other, as our interests and friends continued to collide through health care, sports and other school activites. It wasn't until our first summer home from college that the sparks started flying!
After about a year of dating, Nathan asked the ultimate question with a cookie bouquet with a perfect little purple box in the bottom. At Chilis where we had gone on our first date, he asked me to be his wife. I was so shocked I didn't say anything at first, and he had to repeat himself before he got an answer.
Now, two and half years later, we are just a little less than 7 months until we start our life together, and we can not wait! Right now I am working as a nurse at a local hospital, and Nathan graduates in May with his Bachelors degree in Nursing and hopes to pursue a career in Surgical Nursing. We both plan on advancing our education, and I am currently enrolled in graduate school, and Nathan plans to follow suit. We have recently bought a house in Amarillo and are working on making it our own.
Thats our story in a nutshell, it may not be typical, but its ours, and we wouldn't have it any other way!!

Our Wedding is July 25, 2009 at Hillside Christian Church at 2PM in the Chapel.

We are so excited to be joining our lives together in front of the Lord and all our closest friends and family. We hope you can join us for one of the best days of our lives!

After our wedding, we are spending a week at a romantic resort in Riviera Maya Mexico, and can't wait to enjoy our honeymoon is such a beautiful and relaxing places on earth!

Our reception will follow the wedding at Hillside Christian Church in the Fellowship Hall. We are still working out all the details, but it will definately be full of fun and fellowship!

Thank you so much for your time and support! We appreciate and love each of you so much and we are so glad to have you all be a part of this amazing time in our lives!
