The proposal...
It was right before leaving to go out of town for Christmas. Michael suggested that we exchange gifts before leaving. I stubbornly resisted his request being that everything was already packed. Finally he intrigued me by saying, "I want you to have it now, because you may want it for the ride down!" I agreed thinking he got me an iPod, and we love singing and listening to music. I turned around to close my eyes and when he was ready I turned back around to find him on his knee with a box! I immediately began to cry in pure shock. He said many words...of which I still cannot recall. I hugged him and said YES! He began to tell me how he had drove three hours and asked my dad (which again made me cry), and how all of my family and his already knew. I couldn't have asked for more of a gentleman!

It will be a mix of rustic country and elegance to celebrate the glorious occasion. The ceremony will be held at the University Height Baptist Church. The reception is inside Bass Pro which accomodates both our families who love hunting, fishing, and other outdoor recreation. The rustic setting at Bass Pro, decorated elegantly will represent our families and us. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there to share this amazing moment in our lives.

We will be flying out of Springfield at 6:45 a.m. on Monday June 16th. We will hopefully be arriving in Mexico around12:41. We are excited that we were able to fly out of Springfield and arrive at out destination so early in the afternoon. We are both very excited about this new adventure in our lives (the marriage and the honeymoon). We will return to Springfield sometime Saturday late afternoon.
