One brisk winter evening, Tiffany was on her way to the airport to enjoy a warm winter getaway. While en route to the airport, Tiffany was rear ended in her vehicle. Although this may have slowed her down, she still made it to her flight on time.

After a warm but uneventful trip Tiffany arrived back in Chicago and resumed life as normal.

A few months passed and Tiffany finally made the decision to make an appointment for her vehicle to be repaired. This time she chose a different repair location than she normally did. Why, we’ll get to that later…..

With a busy weekend ahead, Tiffany decided to leave work a couple of minutes early on the day of her appointment. Upon arrival for her appointment, Tiffany was greeted and told to wait in her vehicle until the person she was working with was ready for her. After about 5 minutes, Tiffany began to get a little aggravated. I mean, she was early for her appointment and she hadn’t really been acknowledged yet. After another 10 minutes, Tiffany was finally greeted by Gary. Knowing he may be walking into uncharted territory Gary greeted Tiffany by saying, “Thank you for your patience”. Either this or the fact that they have similar energy seemed to help Tiffany get rid of the fact that she had to wait almost 20 minutes to be helped.

Tiffany proceeded to be the leader she is and told Gary what to do! Anybody who knows Gary knows that this is something that doesn’t happen. Gary was not only surprised but intrigued and attracted by this attitude. There was an exchange of energy that they had never encountered before. The two exchanged information like a normal business interaction and this required Gary to keep Tiffany updated on the status of her repairs. Something happened here, but Gary was perplexed. He knew he liked what he just experienced, but he also had to keep things professional, so he couldn’t pursue the way he wanted to. Tiffany on the other hand knew that a little bit more had happened and made a few phone calls to put the people on notice about what had happened.

As Gary was in charge of Tiffany's repair order for the next few weeks, he had to keep her in the loop with updates at least once a week. Over the course of those following weeks, Gary and Tiffany communicated sparingly. Then one day Gary had to reach out to Tiffany using his personal phone; due to an IT issue with the phone lines at work. Still not a whole lot was spoken about except for status updates and Gary inquiring about how Tiffany was feeling. She wasn’t the best that day and stated she'd had better days. Gary told her to lock his number in. “Yea that’s me” he said.

After this interaction, the two began texting back and forth with long periods in between but not because they were playing “the game” of this new age dating scene, but simply due to both of them being professionally busy on a daily basis. Throughout the next couple days the two began to text more and more until it turned into a full day of texting each day. They began to learn much more about each other's backgrounds, values and interests. Both of them are pretty old school, so although the texting was great an in person meeting was still needed to explore what was possible. Another couple of weeks went by and Tiffany and Gary continued to text. At this point Gary was dragging and Tiffany called him out on it. Time was ticking and they didn't have much time left to plan a first date.

Gary and Tiffany planned their first date at a local restaurant for brunch! The coffee was good, the conversation was great and two souls were purely connected. What started off as a brunch date ended up being a full day of fun laughter food and the beginning of forever for Gary and Tiffany.

Almost a year later they are engaged and planning their wedding! The future Wilsons are so excited for their special day and can’t wait to celebrate with family and close friends.
