In November 2018, we went on an incredible vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We decided to forego holiday shopping and spent the day after Thanksgiving traveling to our slice of paradise for a glorious 12 days. 

The day after we arrived, Jeremy setup a professional photo shoot with a charismatic photographer that paraded us around the resort, posing us in all sorts of gorgeous settings. We felt like celebrities!!! 

At the end of our shoot, as we were on the beach finishing up with the photographer, he asked us if there were any other poses that we'd like to have him photograph. As I responded with a "no but thank you so much for this fun experience," I turn back to make sure Jeremy agreed so we could head back into the resort to continue our vacation. As I look back, there he was, on bended knee with a gorgeous ring extended for my taking. Everything around me faded away.....

Still to this day, I'm not exactly sure what he said because he spoke so fast but I at least knew what his actions implied. :) Of course, I SAID YES!!!

Jeremy had this all planned and the photographer captured a very special moment for us. It was perfect and gorgeous and everything I ever wanted in a romantic proposal. As we looked through pictures from that moment, the beaches were lined with fellow vacationers who cheered us on as they watched it all unfold. I'm glad this was caught on film because to this day, it all seemed like a dream. 

As we re-entered the resort, the DJ announced to the whole place that we'd just gotten engaged and then played a sweet Ed Sheeran song for us to dance to. I was on cloud nine with this man of mine and from that moment on, we were treated like royalty! Best. Proposal. Ever.
