The leaves in Colorado are changing, the air is a bit more crisp and we are all dusting off our suitcases and making sure we remember how to board airplanes because we are going to Mexico!
We cannot wait to see all of you! We are overwhelmed with excitement and I(Andee) will be doing everything I can to post useful posts, schedules of events, and maps as well as any additional plans we might make.
We have a really reamarkable photographer & friend joining us, Malissa Ahlin (https://malissaahlin.com/) who we will be joining after the ceremony as we leave the resort for 8 hours from 1pm-8pm on 11/11/22 to go visit the COBA and TULUM ruins. All guests are welcome but we couldn't afford to bring everyone on this journey so if you want to go, you need to book it through Gwen for transportation. The COBA ruins are similar in size to Chichen-itza but have more shade, are in the jungle, and are not fully excavated which makes them a but more mysterious and enjoyable. Entry is $100Pesos per person and you MUST HAVE PESOS to enter. They have tuktuk/bike taxis available once you are through the gate if you don't want to hike the ruins, they will drive you one or two at a time.
Transport is more like $50/USD per person unless lots of you want to share a van and Gwen can get you a deal. But you have to talk to her before we arrive or at the welcome brunch. You can also use UBER in Mexico and it is very safe, but this is a 2hr++ drive.
If you have questions please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know via text or the Facebook Event!
Looking forward to seeing you all so we can share a little viva together!
