For those who could not make the trip to Mexico, we would love for you to attend our "After Party" barbecue in Chicago! This is going to be a very informal get-together. Of course, those going to Mexico are invited as well!

We will be hosting the event on Saturday, July 12th at 4:00pm.

The event will take place at the Takiff Center at 999 Green Bay Road, Glencoe, IL

The Courtyard is providing shuttle transportation from the hotel to the venue and back.

Nearby Things to Do

Glencoe is a very nice, quiet North Shore suburb that is home to the Chicago Botanic Gardens. The Gardens are located in between the hotel and the Takiff Center.

Ravinia Music Festival, an outdoor music pavilion, is a very short drive away. It is the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and hosts many great musical acts. The lawn is the preferred area to sit during these shows. Many people bring a blanket, picnic basket, a bottle of wine and a few candles. It makes for an enjoyable summer evening.

On Friday, July 11th, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra is performing songs from various movies, inlcuding 2001: A Space Odessey and An American in Paris

If you would like to head down to the city during your stay, there is a train station very close to the Courtyard Marriott Metra North Line to Chicago and it will take you to Ogilvie Train Station in downtown Chicago. You will be steps away from the Sears Tower (er, Willis Tower).
