Our shared passion for Travel and Tourism resulted in our employment at the same company in 2011. The social nature of our daily work allowed us to hang out in the same circle and become good friends even before realizing we had a strong romantic connection. Morgan was in a relationship at the time while Mauricio was living the playboy lifestyle. Our friendship grew stronger and our chemistry became more evident. Soon after that, Morgan made the best decision of her life – she broke up with what’s his name and started dating the office hottie, Mauricio.

Wanting to maintain a professional character, our relationship had to remain a secret at work. Sneaking in cute texts, winks, kisses and love notes were a daily occurrence. Outside of work, all of our close friends were witnesses to our blossoming bond. After 3 years of dating and 2 years of living together, Mauricio decided that the beauty from Courtice, Ontario was the one.

The dream to propose to Morgan became a reality during their trip to El Salvador in 2014. Surrounded by loved ones at the house Mauricio called home for the first 6 years of his life, he decided to get down on one knee after a heartfelt speech. He then asked the question that changed his life forever. How could Morgan resist those hazel eyes and that infectious smile. There was only one answer – “Yes” was followed by tears of joy, a long embrace and cheers of family excitement.
