What to expect during the check in/out process?

Because we will be such a large group, please expect the process to be a little lengthier than usual. You will be assigned a room and golf carts will be available to drive you to your location. Check in time is 3pm and checkout is 12pm. Should we arrive before check in time, pack your swim suit in your carry on so you can enjoy the resort while waiting!

Are there safety deposit boxes in the rooms?

Yes there is and we strongly recommend that you use it for your money/ expensive personal items. Also be sure to lock your doors and don't leave expensive items laying around your room. The resort is safe however we want to avoid any incidents.

What type of foods do they have?

Azul Fives is a gourmet inclusive resort with 9 restaurants to choose from. Whether you're into sushi, Italian, Thai or North American dishes or of course, Mexican there's something for everyone!

Do you have to make reservations for the restaurants?

Reservations are required for Koh Thai (Thai) and Arezzo (Italian) restaurants only. Reservations can be made with the concierge you will be assigned to once checked in.

Is there a dress code for the restaurants?

Dress code ranges from casual to formal depending on the restaurant. Please refer to the website for specifics.

Should I be tipping the staff?

Although tipping is included within your overall charge, it is recommended to tip as you see fit. "A dollar goes a long way!"

What type of currency should I bring?

U.S dollar is the preferred currency.

Do they have a currency exchange on site?

Yes, there is a currency exchange and an ATM available however it is recommended that you change your money ahead of time as the fees may be a bit exaggerated at the resort.

What isn't included in the all inclusive program?

Although it is an all you can eat and drink resort, full bottles of wine/ liquor is not included neither are the spa services, baby sitting service, laundry service and Starbucks (to name a few).

What time does the lounge close?

The Zky bar and gin lounge closes at 1am.

What activities are there to do on the resort?

A schedule of activities will be displayed around the lobby area with entertainment and games happening throughout the week.

Any activities/kids club for kids?

Yes, there is a kids club (ages 4-12) and teen club (ages 13-17) with various games and activities *adult supervision is required (babysitting available for a fee).

Is there to room service available?

Yes, 24hr room service is available.

Is there medical assistance?

A nurse and doctor will be available on site *depending on the reason for the visit, additional cost may be applied.

Is there wifi?

Yes, wifi is available throughout the resort.

Is there a gym?

Yes, you can work off the extra food and drinks as you please! Be sure to check out the smoothie bar after your workout! *protein powder is an added cost.

Is there a laundry room/ cleaning service?

Yes, although this is an additional service and pricing varies depending on the request.
