We met on a night out, for a 30th birthday of a mutual friend. Although our initial conversation remains somewhat hazy, (it was quite late on in the evening by then, after a few celebratory lemonades!) we remembered each other enough to become friends on Facebook a week later. A week after that we were out on our first date! We soon became inseparable, and after a great holiday we decided to move in together. Just less than two months later, we got engaged, which brings us to where we are now!

We are getting married at 3pm, 7th March 2010, on the beach at Azul Beach Hotel, Riviera Maya, Mexico. We initially booked out date for the summer of this year at a venue in Essex, but with the rising cost of weddings of this type, we decided it made more sense to have our wedding and honeymoon package in one. This way, we could still have the special day we wanted, plus a honeymoon, for half the cost of a wedding at home! We realise that the destination will mean our guest numbers will be somewhat limited, nevertheless, the invitation is open for friends and family to join us. For those who would wish to join us, remember that Mexico is a hot place, so clothing should be light and airy, but still appropriate for a wedding.

There will be a special dinner at the hotel after our wedding, this is included in our wedding package and extends to guests. For those who cannot make it, we will be having a party once we are home, we will update the details once we are fully decided on what we will be doing.
