We are headed back to the beach on our honeymoon - it is where we met, but in Panama City Beach, FL. We were both relaxing with our kids for a vacation after school got out. Steve, from Nashville and me from Birmingham. I noticed him and noticed he was very good looking, but what really caught my eye was the way he played with his kids. We made eye contact several times and then after two days, I finally did it! I spoke to him. We were at a resort that served watermelon in the afternoons and he had walked over by my side of the pool eating his watermelon and I said, "So, how's that watermelon?" He said, "good". That was it. I finally got up the nerve to say, "It's messy isn't it?" He said, "yea". We ended up talking and switching phone numbers and here we are today!!!

We are getting married in Chelsea (Birmingham), Alabama. The little chapel is quaint and just right for our ceremony. We are looking forward to joining our kids together in a special blending ceremony also. The kids are very excited about being in a wedding, but not too excited about not being able to go on the honeymoon. SORRY!!!

Yummy!! Michelle and Van Johnson are catering the reception. She and her husband are frieinds from Valleydale Church. They do a great job and I'm sure it will be beautiful and delicious!!! My sweet boss - not many people can say that - but I can!!! She is wonderful and she is taking care of all my floral needs!!!

We will be flying out of Nashville Sunday morning for our wonderful honeymoon! That's all I'm saying about that!!!

Thanks to all of you that have prayed for us through these last few months!! We have made it!!! Pray for us as we join our families together. This transition will have its joys and its trials, but we know God is in control!
